Wahoos are melting down about not being selected as a host school


Five ACC schools chosen as hosts - UNC, FSU, Clemson, Louisville, and Wake Forest.

Of course, it's all Whit's fault since he's on the selection committee.

I admit I am a bit surprised that they were not selected. Perhaps it was the zero Top 50 non-conference wins.

Baseball American had this to say: "The selection of Clemson was somewhat of a surprise over Virginia, the lone team in the top 16 in RPI not to be a host. Houston was 17th. That is the second straight year one team in the top 16 in RPI was not chosen as a host; only last year Virginia was No. 17 and hosted over Coastal Carolina."

I guess the Hoos are getting no sympathy from Coastal Carolina.
