Just, when these things come up on a college realignment board, I point to the truth of the matter. This league's run about as poorly as it could be run. When I do give it some thought, my mind is actually blown by the poor decisions that come out of their offices.

I actually find it quite fascinating how the internal power stuggles and conflicts have led to such poor choices being made from some obviously bright people, University presidents. For one thing, I think they devote far less of their time on athletics than you or I. Got better stuff to do. I should spend less time pondering it.

It will be interesting to see what a VERY STRONG leader could and would do for the ACC. Admittedly, it is a very tough job. This league has some issues out of the gates. Not as bad as the Big East, but similar. basketball versus football/privates versus publics/old school versus new school. Then there's the semi-ACC Notre Dame. You don't see that in the other leagues. So, in Swoff's defense it is a tough job. I find his sort of old school/elitist thinking irritating. It goes against everything I'm for. And yes, it has been quite destructive to something I do care a ton about, VT athletics, particularly football.

But, I come here and spout off a bit, but that's about limit. It's a venue for me just be a douche. I'm toning it down though. Will's getting on me. BTW, my girlfriend caught me on here spouting off, and she had no clue what conference realignment was. Ha! I tried explaining and she just went blank. She didn't have a clue.
