From many members vt did not offer anything rather took away potential recruits ga tech opened up a new market and didn't help vt "stole " unc successful football coach Dooley -and opened up Hampton roads to va tech-

I remember going to the north south double header in Charlotte; match up unc state va tech and furman - I remember the tension between the unc and vt fans- and the bias refs-

However it's the past and today is today and both schools are not the same as the seventies and 40 years past and most alumni and fans have no idea of the times - life evolves
