Keep in mind . . .


As someone who has a daughter in this organization and also on Bunn's travel team, I have to say that several of these girls joined the Starz on their own accord. I don't know that Scot is steering all of these girls to the team. I can see where it looks like that since there are so many VT girls on the team, but many of them started on other teams, committed, and then switched travel teams on their own. They love playing with each other and getting used to each other prior to going to Tech and frankly if my daughter is fortunate enough to do something like that then we'd consider it too. Having them all get used to each other and working together can only help them at VT. This will be their family away from home and it seems like a pretty great opportunity. I remember in one tournament we were facing a future UVa pitcher and the VT girls all getting together and talking about going after her now and showing her how VT does things was pretty cool in my opinion.
