This reminds me of a story my son told me about his cousin

My son is a senior at VT. His cousin is VTCC 2013 and is now a LT in the USMC. They hadn't seen each other in about a year because the cousin was deployed and just got back a couple of months ago.

The cousin decided to drive up to VT from Camp Lejeune for the spring game a couple of weeks ago. He was catching up with everyone and his friends and made sure to spend a chunk of time with my son. They stayed out late the night before the game and then got up the next day and went to my son's tailgates and my nephew's tailgates.

The next day my son called me and said "omg, mom,
(cousin) is a bad arse!" I said, "I know, he was in TAC, he's been deployed, and I know he was buying you and your sister/friends RAILS at TOTS last night.

My son says, "no mom. After about 12 hours together on Saturday he went to his car and pulled out a leftover Chipotle burrito and ate it! It had sour cream and cheese on it and everything. I can't believe he did that. He offered me some but I wouldn't have eaten it if it had sat in my car for even an hour."

lol. I guess Marines are tough. Something about living in the dessert makes you appreciate things more I guess.
