If Kenny Brooks can sign both Taylor Emery and Sam Breen, that should give us all some confidence in our staff's recruiting abilities. Aisha Sheppard is an excellent signing but Tech was involved with her before Brooks came aboard, but he did close the deal and signed her. Breen was being recruited by the previous coaching staff and Brooks came in second place behind Dayton. From what I've read, Sam Breen recently visited campus. Tech has been aggressively recruiting Emery since she entered junior college. Signing those two would be big for our program. If the staff strikes out with both, that should cause some concern.

Recruiting was my biggest concern when we hired Kenny Brooks. He did a great job there developing talent. I just don't believe that he'll have that same luxury in the ACC where half the players are 4 and 5 star talents. JMU talent will probably get Tech ranked between 6th to 9th place in the ACC most seasons. Let's hope we have a successful few weeks in recruiting.
