If all sports start to conform to the same rules

(i.e. recruiting, stipend, etc.), then at some point will the NCAA revisit its scholarship policy? I believe basketball and football are the only sports not allowed to offer partial scholarships. Given that schools are able to control some of the cost in non-revenue sports via partial scholarships, then it may explore trying to implement something similar with the revenue sports. Something else schools may consider is looking to add sports to the revenue list for a number of different reasons. Lacrosse could be one of those sports added to the list especially if the NCAA is looking to increase the number of schools that sponsor the sport and the MLL is looking to increase its exposure.

I do agree with you that all sports should have that recruiting rule. I guess I am just curious to see what the unintended consequences could end up being once the ball starts to roll in that direction.
