My conclusion=Swofford blew it big time

While the ACC brass were chasing some illusion of convincing Sox/Pats/Bruins/Celtics fans to start caring about BC sports, the B1G was setting up a plan to bleed over a billion dollars from the dying cable bundling model via the B1G Network. Swofford was far more concerned about securing his VP son's future at Raycom than getting a piece of that pie.

Now that ship has sailed, and the ACC never earned a dime while the SEC and B1G pocketed massive piles of cash from networks that hardly drew any viewers.

The obvious next step for Power 5 conferences is direct distribution of their own content (cut out the network and cable company middlemen). Who here thinks that Swofford is the forward-thinking leader that's going to disrupt the current model?
