right up until the last sentence. There are mounting questions regarding the senior leadership at ESPN. Some necessitated by the imbalance that has been created by long term rights deals and the repricing going on in the cable industry. There are also rumblings about how ESPN is handling their production business and changing focus. Skipper's obvious protection of UNC, the makeover of the Sportscenter offerrings, radio content, etc.. The leadership at the worldwide leader is certainly under a bigger microscope these days and your original contention is correct, management's marching orders will involve top and bottom line numbers rather than individual properties. Deals that may go by the wayside or are subject to restructuring will probably follow on as their original architects are let go/leave as opposed to an edict from Disney.
