Completely ... and I'm dead so I should be relaxing ...

but the last 6 years as self-employed have been particularly brutal. I have averaged 2150 hours per year for the past 6 years which essentially equates to 6 years without a vacation. I take some, but the vacation hours are more than offset by constant 50-55 hour weeks. I am constantly supporting aggressive and unrealistic deadlines and go from one project to the next without a break in between.

But I get to work from home and the rate is good so I suffer through it. Keep saving and retire at 60 and try to stay healthy (insert dead joke here) so I can enjoy a long retirement.
