I didn't predict that tonight my fridge would catch on fire


Didn't have that on the to-do list.

Apparently the "in" thing with these whirlpool owned refrigerators is to have the switch relay melt and give off 4" flames while filling up the kitchen with smoke.

I unplugged and removed the relay....it is like a overcooked marshmallow. YouTube has tons of videos up on this problem. I'd hope that with UL, that the testing would keep this localized and self extinguish.........I would hate to think of this happening on a rug with no one home. Goodbye house.
