Saw that article. Included a bunch of excuses and speculation.

The article pointed to how bad the league sucked when they negotiated in 2010. Didn't mention how the ACC gave up on a network then by forcing network material into Raycom's hands. Didn't mention how the Pac10 and THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS rolled out their own much more lucrative contracts and networks only months afterward.

And THEN, there's the speculation about how much the network will pay in 20 FREAKING 19. And as the author of the article points out, it's mere speculation at this point. Virginia Tech hasn't seen that money yet. And even if they do start to get $10 million/year, it's about 10 years later than it should have happened. I was on this board back in 09 and 10 and I was posting over and over about the need for a network.

Anyhow, Hoo's article includes excuses and speculation. You all of the sudden couldn't read FlyFishing's article with hard numbers telling us about how far behind ACC teams are when it comes to payouts from the Playoffs.
