Here's a good article about how Timing is Everything.

When John Swofford had to negotiate that Television Contract in 2010, the ACC was dreadful in football as a conference.

When returning to that table in 2016 and in working for distribution in 2018-2019 with the cable providers for the channel, the ACC has a dramatically better story to tell about ACC football.

And the basketball story is as good as ever.
