I knew Inge was from Denmark because my stepuncle mentioned meeting her 1 time while living there during a visit. I think he lived in Denmark for 20-30 years before moving back to the US. In the late 1990s ODU had a couple African recruits (Clarisse Machanguana, Hamchétou Maïga-Ba, and Lucienne Claudine Berthieu-Poiraud) that went on to play in the WNBA. However, I don't think they ever achieved the same level of notoriety while in college as Lieberman, Inge, or even Ticha Penicheiro.
