The rowdy crowd at their "home game" energized the players so that no-one could beat them.
Not UNC, not Arizona, not Gonzaga, no one could.

The committee did USCe a huge favor putting them in Greenville. Their fans are crazy rowdy to start with and add in the 40+ years with nothing to cheer about was a recipe for disaster for any team they played yesterday.

My bet is they are done for in their next game. :-)
