Absolutely. Teams get conditioned to respond to how a game is being...

officiated but i don't think that's what happened to the ACC teams. i watched just about every acc team game and it wasn't about officiating. VT got bit by the same bug that they fought all year...too many o-rebounds and hot shooting from 3 pt land. UVA became cold as ice after being one of the most efficient offensive teams all year. L'ville ran into the hottest team in the country but played a heck of a game. Duke was a roller coaster all year and SC out hustled them. Duke used to never get out hustled. ND couldn't manage WVUs speed and pressure and their guard play, which was a strength all year, wilted. Miami played good defense all year and just stopped.

Maybe some of those performances were a result of conference officiating and resultant conditioning but to me, it looked like lack of preparation and intensity.
