It wasn't so much that our teams got slower, but opponents got faster


In the early 2000s, the value of speed, at all postions, became clear, and teams adapted. Happening at Texas right now under Herman. He is making the entire D-line, that traditionally goes big at Texas, go on a diet so they can move better.
