If you are watching VT play someone on the computer

then it is unlikely you are also watching 'Bama vs. LSU on the TV. Who knows you may even hook up your computer to your 150" theatre plasma TV to watch the Hokies play. In that scenario you are still devaluing the 'Bama-LSU game because you are watching the VT game instead. Even though it may be a net wash from a power conference standpoint, I don't it as being any different than a person watching a non-power conference school play someone instead of watching the marquee game between 2 power conference schools.
