This approaches dangerous territory to me. You would think a school like Michigan would run capital campaigns to build facilities rather than borrow the money as debt. They have wealthy boosters.

I'm not sure it makes sense to pay for Jim Harbaugh to run all over the world to have satellite camps and practices make a whole lot of sense either. Just spends a lot more money. This article talks about them being worried about what's going to happen with ESPN.

I knew about Cal Berkeley, but had no idea Michigan was borrowing like crazy.
