The BPI has us at 48 right now (it also has 14-14 Clemson at 34). That's pretty far from the mean of Massey's composite ranking which has us at 34 (interestingly so does the RPI). So yeah, if you look at the BPI or Sagarin, VT is a bubble team. But when you look at the computer rankings as a whole, VT is solidly in.

We are currently 4-6 against the Top 50 and 8-1 against 51-100. Our RPI is 34. At this point, I am more focused on beating Wake (currently another Top 50 team) and our matchup in the ACC tourney to see if we can get a 6 or 7 seed in the NCAA's. The only way I will get some heartburn is if we drop Wake and somehow faced BC in the ACC tourney and lost. I still think we would get in pretty easily.
