That year VT was #61 in the RPI on Selection Sunday, with only one Top 50 win.

This year VT will be in the Top 50, and perhaps even much better. And right now we have four Top 50 wins. Even if Michigan drops out, we'll still have three times as many Top 50 wins as we did in 2011.

This team has a much better resume than 2011. I've always believed that RPI rank and Top 50 wins were the two most important metrics, and this year we are going to pass those tests.
