Dennis Wolff's/Kenny Brooks' 2015-16 class was rated 11th out of 15 in the ACC. That was with highly touted PG Genesis Parker. Parker and McCoy both departed, so that class likely drops from 11 to 13 or 14. Georgia Tech transfer Erin Garner is the best prospect from that recruiting class.

The 2016-17 class is still incomplete since Kenny will likely add a few more players this spring. Right now the class is ranked 11th out of 15. The 2017-18 class is ranked last right now but we only have one commitment in 3 star PG Shaniya Jones. Her offer list isn't loaded with power 5 schools. Kenny didn't finish off strong last fall with all of his top recruiting prospects choosing SEC schools (UGA, Kentucky, Texas A&M). Hopefully, we will land a few 4 star prospects but many of the 2018 and 2019 prospects that we are recruiting have already committed elsewhere to schools like NC State, UNC, Colorado, Tennessee. Wes Moore is having a great recruiting class. UVA, BC, and Clemson are having good recruiting success too. IMHO, Kenny Brooks and his staff are going to have to greatly improve recruiting if we want to get the program in the top half of the ACC. Louisville, Duke, Miami, and Notre Dame all have very impressive recruiting classes. When Kenny took the job, recruiting was my biggest concern. I'm hoping that he finds the same recruiting success that Wes Moore is now having at NC State.
