Re: List your top 3 choices for HC. My top 3 are:


1. Robie (with Zadick, hopefully, for the freestyle props needed to keep SERTC growing).
2. Popolizio - It would be a big step up for him; he has proven to be nearly as dynamic as Dresser at recruiting and developing talent; and maybe a couple of his star wrestlers want to follow him (East Coast consolidation).
3. Cunningham from PSU - has the international experience too.

But Robie, with as much as the current staff as possible is #1 by a wide margin for me. And I don't always believe in hiring from within, but this is the right time to do it. It's like if Bill Bellichick retired from the Patriots tomorrow. Kraft doesn't even think twice about promoting Josh McDaniel, who has been coveted as a HC by a number of other teams. Sometimes, promoting that guy just makes perfect sense.
