overall a pretty sweet deal for the Brands brothers when you throw in the job for Terry as the club coach. In Iowa's eyes it paid off. But oh the difference a year would have made.

The irony and hypocrisy were rampant though: how does Iran bring in the US to wrestle in such a welcoming fashion to the World Cup this year with everything that's gone on - deaths on both sides, our embassy stormed and hostages held - but Brands is holding some grudge for Weaver following the rules. How is that good for college wrestling? How is that good for the sport as a whole? With Weaver having passed away, who exactly is Tom getting revenge on at this point?

If VT were to have folded, how would that have rippled through the ACC, would Duke or any others have followed suit?
