I think that was a very good editorial. Having left a job to get closer to home due to aging parents - I can understand the desire. However, it does feel like a job greatly started and left unfinished. The nervousness that I have as a Tech fan is two fold. Wrestling is a deeply personal sport with deep ties between wrestlers and coaches. Secondly, I admit still being tainted by the Iowa 5 saga and hope those ties with Kevin do not cost Tech a wrestling tradition by having kids transfer to follow Kevin and the loss of Kevin as a driving force for the SERTC. I hope that Whit has and understanding of this personal connection in Tech's next Coaching staff hires.
