I went to high school with Jason and his wife Stacy - awesome people. I jokingly sent him a message that he should come down to Bburg as it's much nicer place to raise their two young sons than Pitt. I don't know if he knew something concrete or if it was just his gut feeling but his reaction was the VT job was spoken for. If there was ever a time to promote from within, I'd say this is a darn good time to consider it. Try to hang on to recruits, maintain the culture of success, etc.
