The way SERTC has been in used has been limited..
Mainly, it's been a way to get workout partners. Carter initially planned to compete internationally and was training to do so. He's not traveling with the team and is concentrating on his phd. Dan Garwood trained with SERTC to give Ty a partner while Dunn was recovering and also accompanied some of the backups to open tourneys.
Ty will initially help develop Haught and Dunn. I'm not sure if he's planning to compete internationally.
The top programs (Iowa, PSU, Oklahoma State, Ohio State) have stronger RTCs with many guys competing internationally. While Dresser has made strides in this direction, we are nowhere close to those programs in this respect.
