Look at the results he has gotten from the upperweights.they are all studs.most if not all are ranked much higher than their recruitment rankings out of high school. He must get alot of credit for the culture of the practice room. If you want to 'continue' the culture of whats been working for the past 10 years its really a no brainer.he has to be at the very top of a very very short list. If you bring someone in from the outside you risk destroying the wrestling culture of what has been created. You have a number of elite wrestlers with tremendous potential in the hokie system right nowthey need to know the wrestling room will not change. . Priority number one has to be continueity.

There is a reason that he is the 'associate' Head Coach and not the assistant.You bump him up and then elevate - with pay and job titles the rest of the team. There are big shoes to fill on the recruiting sideneed to elevate or bring in someone else to join the team for sure.more virginia tech 'glue' to solidify the leadership..the entire staff needs to step up but they can do it.
