I have not followed VT wrestling closely at all...

...and I know nothing of the specifics of this situation, but decisions like this are always partially about compensation. It's no different than you or I considering a job offer. We have to decide what is best, and part of that decision making process is evaluating the pay/salary. Not many people make lateral moves for equal pay. I think ISU knew they would have to up the ante to convince Dresser to take their offer, so by default, that makes it partially about money. I'm not passing judgment on whether that is or is not a good reason for Dresser to leave VT...I'm just making an observation about the situation.
