Perhaps push Women's Basketball?

The ACC is really promoting the 40th anniversary of ACC women's basketball this month. The ACC website is running an article each day for 40 days highlighting moments in women's basketball. I don't know how well women's basketball is selling on television, but it seems to have really progressed over the past decade in following.

The ACC Network channel is under contract for 40 football games and 150 men's and women's basketball games. So the ACC can leverage football and men's basketball to sell the channel, and those will have viewers, but there will be 250 other sporting events shown. In addition to women's basketball, the ACC should really showcase spring sports like baseball, softball, and lacrosse. Then in the fall, soccer should also be showcased. During the winter there should be enough basketball to showcase with wrestling, swimming & diving, and gymnastics filling in. I have noticed that the ACC Network Extra is showing EAGL gymnastics events when they are held at ACC venues.

I think the ACC also needs to find a good personality to have a talk show on the channel like the SEC has with Paul Finebaum. If it is the right personality, viewers will tune in to watch that. Mark Packer might be good for that. Or Wes Durham.
