Regarding my contributions to revenue sports. I feel as though money has corrupted bball and fball to the point that this is no longer about the student athlete. The amount of money that is spent at this level for coaches etc is ridiculous. They deserve a lot, but it is out of control. IMHO giving a thousand bucks so that a coach can make another million or we can build the next biggest stadium or locker room is fruitless. In my world, coaching salaries at the collegiate level would be capped accordingly to locality with the allowance for bonuses based on performance. But I know that goes against the American way.
