The point of the basketball season is making the NCAA Tournament and HokieHigh put together some analysis of our chances of doing just that.

The NCAA Tournament takes 68 teams. It's not about "these teams look that part, so we'll take those teams and have a tournament of X number of teams". Nope, the discussion is about whether we will be able to break through and make it in. We could look mediocre and undeserving of a bid, go 4-3 the rest of the way and still be likely to make it.

If you're not a fan of that kind of discussion, that's cool. Don't read it and you don't have to respond to it. But based on the responses, it doesn't seem that he's the only one that wants to talk about our actual chances of making it, whether we pass the eye test or not.
