I had no false illusions as to how the conference grind was going to go. I

am glad that we finally have a competent head coach who has credibility in the women's game. I knew that he wasn't a miracle worker and that we would struggle again this year in conference play. I'm looking forward to watching Kenny build the program. I'm sure we'll be a much different team 2-3+ years from now.

Having said that, the girls are playing and working hard and I appreciate their scrappiness and hustle. I'm not doubting their desire to win or their effort. The ACC is unforgiving, night in and night out. Our future is bright, it just takes time.
