Maybe Kenny isn't happy with the practice energy or team attitude during the losing streak? It appears that Vanessa got the message last night. She played as hard as she has in some time. She's still in a severe shooting slump but she is no longer settling for 20+ ft. shots and is driving toward the basket or taking shots in the paint. Kenny wants all his players to go for rebounds. He said last week that all the players appear to be expecting Regan Magarity and Sidney Cook to get the rebounds. Another matter of concern that I've heard from all the player's post game comments has been the lack of communication on the floor. That's up to the team leader on the floor. I would assume that Vanessa, Sami, and Sidney are the team leaders since they're all seniors? Sometimes I feel that Chanette wants to badly be the team leader, but she has to wait for her time being a sophomore. Maybe there's confusion to who the leader is? If so, that's Kenny's fault since he's the head coach. From what I've read and heard from Kenny, he's placing the leadership role on his 3 senior starters.
