I think the networks, politicians, public would all exert some force.

for instance, ESPN would want some sort of college athletics presence in the North East. I think they would lobby for UCONN. Perhaps the Feds wish to include the service academies? If they wish to play, then I think the new break away league will have to work together in order to add them. Navy to the ACC is a given. Air Force to the pac12. I could see the B1G bending rules to add Army.

I think WVU would have politicians and FANS going nutz in order for them to be included. They've got a whole state behind them, along with a fairly large are rabid alumni network. ESPN would likely wish to keep them in the fold as well.

Ok. St. has Pickens and it's a state school. It already seems as though OU is looking out for them. Not necessarily seeing that from KU and Kst. Kst. could be left behind.

Anyhow, I think all things considered, Oklahoma St. and WVU find homes.

Iowa State's kinda odd, but it is lucky to be AAU. Now, Baylor is probably done. They could have been a decent addition if the SEC is forced to move west. I get why the SEC doesn't want another South Carolina school, but they may appreciate having 2 to 3 Texas schools. but Baylor's carrying a ton of baggage right now.
