Glad she made it. 50 years ago yesterday was in a tornado.


January 24. Our house was gone. Next door house was cut in half. Whole neighborhood destroyed.

House was torn apart. Flying glass, wood, furniture. Mom was hit by a refrigerator. I had the shortest stay in the hospital, only 2 weeks. Luckily we all survived. Not all my neighbors were so lucky.
