Tell me what is wrong with my example. Please, because I told you . . .

where you were wrong, in that it IS possible with ground ball, and how the grounder to SS, scoring a runner from third is no different than a fly ball scoring a runner from third.

Same outcome, yet statistically scored differently.

It is illogical that one is scored a sacrifice, taking away the AB, and one is not. They are both swinging away.

Don't post any crap about being able to decide if you are going to hit a fly ball, versus a grounder, at 95+ mph, or on a MLB curve or slider, because I am going to turn right around and say, "okay, my guy saw the SS was playing normal depth, and he tried to hit it to him." If you can control hitting a fly ball, you can control hitting a grounder. Wouldn't you agree?

There was only one Ted Williams (heard of him?), with that kind of bat control.

When you bunt, which is a real sacrifice, you are taking the bat out of your hands to get a hit, giving yourself up, to advance the runner.

When you swing away, its illogical to give a guy a sacrifice because the ball got hit in the air, as opposed to the right place on the ground.

I'm curious . . . if a runner tags from second to third, on a fly ball, you do you know if it is a sacrifice or not? Again, illogical. He doesn't get a sacrifice, but he still advanced the runner.

Don't question my baseball knowledge when you don't know me. I probably have forgotten more than you know.
