It'll be interesting see the starting rotation for softball and how well they pitch as the season progresses. We return most of our starting team from last season. I don't think expectations are high this season, but that's not how Scot Thomas and company are feeling. They have plenty of motivation after last season's performance.

I'm more intrigued with first year coach John Sung and how he runs the women's lacrosse program. From everything I've read, the WLAX program will be much improved. Maybe Tech finally beats JMU and wins an ACC game or two? I expect improved stick skills and quicker play this season. IMHO, we finally have an ACC quality WLAX coach.

We should have an improved baseball team if our pitchers are healthy. Nothing went right last year. Our top pitchers were all out with injuries. I expect us to at least be competitive in the ACC.
