Finally quit on TurboTax to file MPHNC's final taxes (2016). After four days, TTax never sent an email verifying my email address, in spite of several attempts every day since and including Sunday and an hour on the phone w/ two TTax helpers yesterday. So we could never close the forms and file.

Screwy, since me loverly bride and I have used TTax for years w/out issue one.

Signed on to H&R Block (thx Ffx) this morning and all is filed. Since I'm claiming her small refund (even though it'll be direct deposited to her checking account), her Virginia and Fedruhl forms cannot be filed electronically. I guess Unca Sugah and Cousin Terry need to confirm she's deceased (like vt90) and that I'm allowed to tell them.

For the first time in maybe 20 years, I'm actually mailing tax forms. Weee-ird.
