Continue to push for more emphasis on football.


We have Jon Oliver now. There are many positive things going on with the UVA athletic department. Oliver is supported by the major donors of the basketball program. He played a major role in the John Paul Jones arena.

The next AD needs to take the University through a transformation of football. New facilities are needed for the program. What they have now is 25 years old and falling behind. Clemson is setting the bar with its new facility. I'm not sure we need that, but getting closer to it is important. Much of the football success falls on the coaches and not the AD, but the AD needs to give appropriate support.

I'd like a new person, but if Jon Oliver gets it, I'll deal with it and continue to push for what I think they need.
