Most obvious was how much quicker Duke was overall but their size inside was not as much a factor as I expected it to be when I watched the teams warm-up. Duke can easily go 9 deep and have good inside outside balance. Dukes guards were able to match Hicks speed. The gym(and that's what it is) was extremely hot and uncomfortable. Feel this also had an effect on VT in second half' They looked winded early in 3rd period. Really like Coach Brooks sideline manner and you can tell how attentive the team is to him. But he does have a fire to him and was quick to come back on the Duke coach for whatever she said to him. The lady Hokies are in good hands.
