And some of the things people say keeps recruits from coming here (rural, small town, not a lot to do) are what makes for a good community, good schools, quiet place to raise a family.
If someone is a mercenary persay that is looking for a bigger pay day, we will probably never be able to compete. If you are looking for the idyllic small town, I'm hard pressed to think of a better college town. Same with Fuente. Blacksburg has a lot going for it despite some on here who say otherwise.
