accounts for great teams in Top 5 not in champ games. 2 B10 teams in top 5 but not in Champ games, and are really the better teams. Plus, what I like about 8 teams is it allows for teams playing their best ball late in the season to make it to the show. It's obvious that some teams are just not the same early season to late (and vice versa). Louisville?

I think once at 8, there can really be not arguments. And heck, may allow for the occasional school like Western Michigan to get in when they're undefeated.
