He was bending to lower himself and attempt to get leverage. Leverage is key to make a tackle...if he "wrapped up" as you say, he likely gets a helmet in his chest and run over for another 5 yards or more

I said by rule, it was correct but not because Edmunds made a fundamentally bad play...you're just flat out wrong on your take on his technique
