If it is coordinated through the ticket office, then I believe it still requires the ticket holders to be willing participants. Then again VT has been doing Maroon Effect, Orange Effect, and White Effect games for several years now. I think most people have figured out by now that those games tell what color shirt/jacket fans should wear to the game especially since VT sells special shirts for those games. Given the Corps uniform requirements and the Marching Virginians, it might be tough for VT to ever pull off a true [color] out. Hence why I thought spelling out "VT" (or something) in part of the stadium might be more feasible.
