They struggle now but will they in a new conference?


Navy's baseball and softball teams may struggle now, but if they were to join the ACC for example, they may be able to recruit players that can make them able to compete towards the middle of the pack in the ACC, and that would make them a lock for the NCAA tourney.

As it is, they have gone to the NCAA the last couple of years, and have been the Patriot League regular season champs 6 of the last 16 years.

As for the height requirements, 80 inches is the maximum, 6'8", but waivers may be made for exceptional candidates. With the DoD allowing football players to go to the NFL directly now, I'm sure the SecDef will be happy to approve a waiver for a 4* basketball player. Only need 1-2 a year over 6'8".
