Great example. Now they feel they need format changes...


to help sway fans back. The old guard won't be back and now they have the unenviable task of attracting a new fan base. Gordon is mostly retired and once the 88 doesn't have the Earnhardt name associated with it, NASCAR may fade away.

I hope other professional / college sports have watched what has happened to NASCAR closely. I think I heard that NASCAR was #1 in fan attendance for years and years. Pretty sure that's not the case anymore.
