My Opinion

There isn't a whole lot you can take from Intrasquad matches, because these kids see each other in the room every day and they learn each others tendencies and matches will become closer and closer as guys learn how to wrestle each other.

That being said there is a clear starter at most weights and one thing you can look at this time of year is how much bigger certain kids have gotten and how good of shape they are in early on. IMO, our kids have hit the weight room hard this offseason as it was visibly noticeable to me in Chishko, Sal, Zavatsky, Haught.

I'll be curious to see how Sal handles 157 pounds or if he and Chishko make the drop to 141/149. I personally think Chishko looks super thick and 141 might be really tough for him this season(if coaches and Sully decide to make the drop), but time will tell. I was very impressed with Latona, but I want to see him vs. D1 level competition.

Edinboro/VMI and the Hokie open will be a better measuring stick for where this team is in November. We have a lot of work to do if we are going to be ready to beat Missouri in a few weeks. Especially at 133-165.
