Why do you keep going on about this?

It makes the ACC look extremely incompetent. I'll play along and assume this is correct for an instant. Let's rehash your statement you have made several times prior to this. Penn St, OSU, Michigan, Purdue and NW were going to jump from the Big10 and ND was going to go to the ACC all in. The ACC turned it down because they wanted Indiana. Instead of Purdue.

Let's look at the issues of this scenario. The ACC turned down three of the most recognizable brands (ND football, OSU and Michigan), a team located in Chicago (ND), the most popular school in one of the largest states (PSU) because they wanted Indiana over Purdue. Yet, Purdue is/was one of ND yearly rivalries. ND played Purdue every year from 1946-2014. In 2012 (assuming this was before UMD was announced going to the Big10), the series wasn't interrupted yet. Making the Shillelagh Trophy game a conference game might have been why Purdue was included. But the ACC wanted Indiana.

Again, assuming your scenario is correct, that would make the ACC decision makers either grossly incompetent.
