can expand in, then I would think vacant land on campus could become a premium especially if the school plans to increase the enrollment. VT may have some interesting (and tough) decisions to make in the future on how it plans to use any vacant land on campus. If you think about all the competing interests on campus (i.e. academics, athletics, dining, housing, infrastructure, Marching Virginians, etc.), then I don't think the school will be able to please everyone. Even though this is an athletic message board, it would not surprise me if the school decides to place the needs of one of the other groups ahead of athletic's needs.
